Fundraisers
Hallsburg Elementary does not do traditional fundraisers. The PTA uses the funds made from the annual carnival to help benefit the school. Hallsburg does participate in a couple of indirect fundraisers however. Shoparoo, Boxtops, and Coke Rewards are three programs in which you can participate to help benefit Hallsburg Elementary School.
Shoparoo is school fundraising made easy: the free app turns pictures of your everyday shopping receipts into cash donations and sweepstakes entries for our school! Yep, it’s that simple. No more cutting labels, selling door to door, or time-consuming coordinating. All you have to do is shop as you normally do, snap pictures of your receipts with the app, and voila Just shop, snap, earn!
Box Tops for Education. These emblems can be cut and trimmed from many products you use at home, before you throw away the package. The students write their initials and grade on the backs of the boxtops and are eligible for prizes.
Coke Rewards. If you drink any Coke products there are Coke Reward numbers you can enter and earn points for our district to buy special products for our students, such as playground equipment. Go to http://www.mycokerewards.com/home.do and register. Once you sign in, all you have to do is enter the coke numbers in the box at the top left hand corner of the screen. Once a semester (or more often if you wish) you can donate your points to our school. Go to the “schools” tab, scroll down to “donate to a school”. Under “Find a School and Donate Points” enter the school zip code, 76705, and then select Hallsburg Elementary School. Note – if you enter TX, Hallsburg Elementary can be found under the Waco tab.
